This FREE community meeting is hosted by Living Beyond Breast Cancer and features special guest Sabitha Pillai-Friedman, PhD, LCSW, CST. Dr. Pillai-Friedman will present a program designed to help women of all ages and relationship statuses. Learn how to adjust to breast cancer treatment side effects that impact your sex life. During the program, you'll also learn how to:
- Manage body image concerns often caused by surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
- Talk to your partner about what you are experiencing.
- Gain strategies for coping with these challenges.
About Our Speaker
Sabitha Pillai-Friedman, PhD, LCSW, CST, is an assistant professor at the human sexuality program at Widener University. She is a psychotherapist and certified sex therapist who works with individuals and couples in her private practices in Center City, Philadelphia and Bala Cynwyd, Penn. She has over 20 years of experience in providing individual, couple and sex therapy.
Dr. Pillai-Friedman presents nationally and internationally on various topics related to relationships and sexuality and has done interviews on CN8, NBC and National Public Radio.
